There is currently over 40 wineries located on the Granite Belt,
ranging from small boutique wineries to large grand establishments.
For a great day out why not take a guided tour – let somebody else
do the driving while you have all the fun.

National Parks
The Granite Belt is home to a number of beautiful and unique
National Parks, perfect for bush walking, swimming, bird watching
and camping.
Girraween,
Sundown and
Bald Rock National Parks are all just a short drive from
Stanthorpe.
The
Bramble Patch
A must do by all accounts.
The
Bramble Patch produces a selection of gourmet
preserves, wines, and beautiful fresh berries (from late Oct to
March). Don’t miss the sparkling raspberry wine it is simply divine!
Mount
Stirling Olives
For lovers of olives and olive products, be sure to include
Mount
Stirling Olives on your itinerary. Here you can take a tour of the
olive grove and processing plant and sample the delights. The black
olive tapenade is simply the best you’ve ever tasted! |
Restaurants
Stanthorpe has a variety of eating establishments, ranging from
delightful alfresco cafes to award winning restaurants. All are
within walking distance of Quart Pot Cottage.
Anna’s Italian Restaurant is a
key Stanthorpe attraction and a must do during your
visit. The Stanthorpe RSL Club also provides hearty meals and on
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights it provides a free courtesy
bus for transport to and from the club.
Stanthorpe Museum
The
Stanthorpe Heritage Museum
has an interesting display of life on the Granite Belt from by-gone
eras.
Stanthorpe Art Gallery
The Stanthorpe Art Gallery is a pleasure to take a stroll through.
Throughout the year the gallery hosts numerous displays and exhibits.
Have a relaxing afternoon viewing the various artwork on show.
Antique Shops
The Granite Belt is home to a number of quaint antique and old wares
shops which will delight avid collectors and day to day shoppers
alike. Take a day and leisurely tour around these stores – you never
know what you might find!
Special Events & Markets
Be sure to visit the Granite Belt during one of the numerous
festivals, special events and market days, such as the Apple and
